Test Format:

CAEL total time is 3h30m and is done in one sitting

  • Speaking (Reply to on-screen prompts verbally, 7-10mins)

  • Integrated Reading (Read passages and reply to question, 35-50mins)

  • Integrated Listening (Listen to passages and reply to questions, 12-35mins)

  • Academic Unit A (Answer comprehension questions and write a reply, 60-70mins)

  • Academic Unit B (Answer comprehension questions and write a reply, 40-45mins)
